2024 Fall Ball

2024 Fall Ball - Clinic and Games

(Registration opens 7/22/24 - closes 8/23/24) (NO Late Registration)

7 weeks

1 practice (clinic) and 1 game each week.

Fall Ball - teams are broken up by colors (red, blue, black, yellow, pink…..) Players will be placed on team for all of Fall Ball. For the clinic (practice) all teams in a division will practice together. How teams are selected: if you are a returning player (from Spring 2024) and your coach is coaching in the Fall you will be placed on that team. If you are new, coach not coaching, or moving up divisions you will be randomly placed on a team.

For example:

12u - if we have a Red, Blue, White, Black, and Green team (number of teams depends on how many sign up).

12u day will be on Tuesdays. ALL teams will report for group clinic (practice) from 6pm-7:30pm and games start 7:30pm (1 hour game). We will have 2 games 1 on each field. Depending on number of teams. Some may get by weeks (Red vs Blue and White vs Green _ Black will get a by _ but will still come to practice).

Registration Fee:

6U TeeBall - $125

8U Machine Pitch - $125

10U Minor Kid/Coach Pitch - $170

12U Major - $170

Game / Practice Schedule:

During the week. NO WEEKENDS.

6u - Wednesday (1 hour clinic and 1 hour game)
8u - Thursday (1 hour clinic and 1 hour game)
10u - Monday (1 1/2 hour clinic and 1 hour game)
12u - Tuesday (1 1/2 hour clinic and 1 hour game)

Divisions will ALL practice together working on improving their skills. Players will be divided into teams that they will play with each week (not changing teams every week like we did last year).

Important dates:

Season Starts Sept 9th
Season Ends Nov 1st
NO clinic or games during Fall Break
NO clinic or games on Oct 31st

Field Locations:

Our main fields are at Cardinal Run Park South 2000 Parkers Mill Rd Lexington Ky (2 fields in the back down the hill (CR A and B) and 1 field up the hill CR2)).

Player equipment:

ALL players will need to have a glove, fielders mask, and batting helmet w/face-mask. Bat is optional but highly recommended to have your own. Cleats are also optional but highly recommended.

*please note that coaches may also have items they will want the players to have (softball pants, socks…).

Rainouts:

Fall season is every short and with no weekends we may not makeup games/practices.
